At about 0:30, the family describes wanting Finn to be happy and comfortable at home. Later, the owner expresses surprise and pleasure at the walk, then talks about the possibility of including him in family walks and hikes.
Those future outings are the family’s hopes in the conversation. The film gives us their reaction during the lessons; it does not document every outing that followed.
