Angier K9 is a family-owned, play-based Board & Train serving Angier, Raleigh and the Triangle, with three full owner lessons.
“They saved his life,” a member of Astro’s family says. Muzzled on every outing for years and lunging at dogs, Astro rebuilt trust through a kennel door and a game of tug, and his family learned to carry that work home.
Begin with what was at stake.
At 0:11 a member of Astro’s family describes what was at stake. By 0:55 the family is watching him walk with his muzzle off, and at 2:15 they thank the team.
Watch how trust was built.
At 0:28 his trainer describes Astro going from wanting nothing to do with him to playing tug, and at 1:37 Kelton explains that tug is how they became friends. At 1:55 Astro stays neutral as another dog barks.
