Films & original exchanges · Choose a viewing path
Choose the work you want to follow.
Start with a family film when you want the story. Choose an original teaching passage when you have a particular question. These paths connect the two, with the surrounding source context close at hand.
01 · A story to begin with
Meet the dogs and the people learning with them.
Rocko & Kodak: Room for Each Other joins individual work with the family’s shared-home account. Pepper & Rosa: A Walk Together follows paired walking and an owner handover. Shadow: The Work Comes Home keeps a new-bed lesson and a family greeting in context.
For more family stories, watch Finn: A Bigger World, Together or Penny: Understanding That Stays. Each film has its own source links. You can return to a complete exchange after watching the story.
02 · Sharing the home
Follow the questions before the exercise.
Inside Rocko & Kodak’s assessment connects the requested starting setup, daytime coverage and a question about Kodak alone. Then follow the family’s household plan to see what is current, unfinished or proposed.
Academy’s household observation guide helps you bring each person’s example to the trainer. The dogs’ arrangements and reports stay attached to the people who describe them.
03 · Instructions, questions and the next attempt
Watch what the person learns.
Questions families ask in lessons lets you choose a passage about praise, posture, bed boundaries or a return. In Shadow’s home-bed lesson, follow help and repeated attempts on a new surface. The steps between cot positions keeps the transitions in the earlier practice visible.
Pepper’s home-arrival lesson follows the conversation after the walk. Shadow’s work after the lesson connects a question about continuing practice with its recorded answer. Bring your own next-step question to your trainer.
04 · The invitation and the continuation
Follow the game beyond a single exciting moment.
Kodak’s changing plan connects an assessment concern with later play and the trainer’s current priority. Pepper’s throw and release keeps retrieval and release in one source pathway. Pepper’s play-access proposal follows a separate owner conversation.
Use Academy’s play learning path for the observation guide and reward-profile prompts. The next exercise for your dog comes from your own lesson, not the adjacent clip.
05 · Source, view and elapsed time
Understand the picture you are watching.
Follow a film back to its source explains the two clocks. One moment, two views shows a synchronized detail beside the full picture. When the camera cannot show the whole exchange helps you retain a missing view.
For the filming process, read Why we film: most longer recordings are essentially raw sessions, with a field of view selected from the 360-camera recording. Family films and Shorts add their own editing. Use the longer-recording guide when you want the surrounding session.
